What a quotation should include

  • Your business details and the customer's name
  • Quotation number and date, and how long the quote is valid
  • Each item or service with quantity, rate and total
  • Taxes (GST) if applicable, and the grand total
  • Delivery time, payment terms and any conditions

How to make a quotation online in 3 steps

1. Customer — type the customer's name (and GSTIN or address if you want them printed).

2. Items — add what you sold with quantity and price. GST and totals are worked out automatically.

3. Download & Share — click Download PDF, print it, or share it straight to WhatsApp from your phone.

Your own business details, logo, bank details and signature are entered once and reused on every bill.

Quotation, estimate and proforma invoice — what's the difference?

A quotation is a firm offer at a fixed price. An estimate is an approximate figure that may change. A proforma invoice looks like an invoice and is used to request advance payment before goods are shipped. All three are available as document types here, with the correct title and numbering labels.

Does the quotation show GST?

Is the quotation maker free?
